What is a collective?
A collective is generally a spot on the web where people can keep track and browse all the sites the person owns. In my case, this is my fanlistings collective, where I list all my fanlistings and fanlisting-related content.
Why did you make this collective?
I figured since I have so many fanlistings and since I already had a one-page mini collective, I might as well put a bit more effort into it all and make it look nice and more welcoming!
Why did you call the collective "Tahlmorra?"
I had this domain, tahlmorra.net, and I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I figured why not use it for my collective? Tahlmorra means "destiny" or "fate" and is from the series of books called Chronicles of the Cheysuli by Jennifer Roberson. It's always been one of my favourite words (hence the reason I bought the domain) and it was perfect for my collective. It used to be called Fantasia but I found a bunch of other collectives called that so I wanted something original.
What is a fanlisting, anyway?
You mean you don't know? *shrieks and gasps of horror* Here is an explanation from thefanlistings.org: "A fanlisting is a place for all the fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people all around the world who are fans of that subject."
Why do you like fanlistings so much?
I think that fanlistings are a great way to show that you are a fan of a particular subject and that you support that subject. Plus, it's really fun for me and it gives me something interesting to do while I'm online!
